The Poiette room is a small gem that takes its name from the “poià”, the initial uphill stretch of the old dirt road that connected Morgex to Pré-Saint Didier, and from the vines that bordered it.
Located on the first floor, with a lovely balcony and ceiling in ancient local larch beams , the Poiette room is characterized by an ancient altar renovated as the head of the bed, coming from a deconsecrated church in the area and enriched with friezes, decorations and the text of a prece, a childhood memory common to many people in Valle d’Aosta.
